Description
SLO:

Managerske simulacijske igre (MSIM) imajo velik potencial v izobraževanju.

Znanstveni cilji projekta so:
(1) ZC1: izdelati bibliometrično analizo literature s področja uporabe iger MSIM, ki temelji na metodologiji PRISMA;
(2) ZC2: raziskati stopnjo uporabe MSIM-a na hrvaških in slovenskih visokošolskih zavodih poslovno ekonomskih smeri in

EN:
Management simulation games (MSIMs) hold great potential in education. They represent a step forward from current student engagement methods by fostering an interactive working relationship, encouraging independent work and creative thinking, building decision-making readiness and autonomy, and cultivating a positive attitude toward learning.
MSIMs are becoming an increasingly powerful educational tool that effectively complements traditional teaching methods by promoting experiential learning, motivating students, and introducing them to the business world through simulation.
MSIMs also play a significant role in the corporate sector, where they are used for talent identification, training, and scenario analysis; by tailoring MSIMs to a specific company, it is possible to explore the consequences of specific business decisions. An MSIM platform is available that facilitates collaboration and the creation of potential business development scenarios amidst various internal and external changes.
The project’s scientific objectives are:
(1) SO1: to conduct a bibliometric analysis of literature regarding the use of MSIMs, based on the PRISMA methodology;
(2) SO2: to investigate the extent of MSIM usage at Croatian and Slovenian higher education institutions specializing in business and economics; and
(3) SO3: to develop a model for simulation games in higher education institutions using the Technology-Organization-Environment (TOE) framework.
