Glavni cilj tega projekta je racionalizirati zbiranje komunalnih odpadkov, zmanjšati njihovo količino z uporabo zelenih tehnologij ter zmanjšati nastajanje nesortiranih odpadkov s povečevanjem ozaveščenosti občanov o temah krožnega gospodarstva. Fakulteta za management lahko kot pridruženi partner projekta pri doseganju omenjenih ciljev pomaga na več načinov. Prvič, Fakulteta za management si še posebej prizadeva za izmenjavo novega znanja s področja krožnega gospodarstva in ciljev trajnostnega razvoja. Tako lahko fakulteta predstavlja odlično platformo za deljenje novih spoznanj ter za spodbujanje celovite razprave in/ali dialoga. Študenti in zaposleni na fakulteti lahko aktivno sodelujejo pri projektnih dejavnostih in načrtovanih razpravah. Izmenjava znanja krepi sposobnost projektnih partnerjev za doseganje zastavljenih ciljev in je ključna za lažje sprejemanje odločitev, zlasti če upoštevamo dolgoročno korist projekta. Drugič, Fakulteta za management lahko služi kot ustrezna platforma za širjenje rezultatov projekta. To pripomore k večjemu zanimanju in ozaveščenosti o pomenu ravnanja z nesortiranimi odpadki ter o bremenu, ki ga ti predstavljajo za družbo. Fakulteta lahko odigra vodilno vlogo pri spreminjanju miselnosti občanov v tem pogledu. Tretjič, v času trajanja projekta bodo partnerji razvili nove okvire in predlagali nove metode ravnanja z odpadki. Takšni rezultati in ugotovitve lahko obogatijo predavanja, seminarje in/ali vaje pri predmetih, ki jih izvaja Fakulteta za management (zlasti tistih, povezanih z upravljanjem trajnostne rasti), ter s tem povečajo vpliv projekta.
Projekt je financian preko Interreg VI-A Italija-Slovenija 2021-2027.

The main goal of
this project is to rationalize the collection of municipal solid waste, reduce
it by using green technologies, and reduce the production of unsorted waste by
increasing citizens’ awareness of circular economy topics. The Faculty of
Management, as associate partner of the project, can help in achieving the
aforementioned goals a couple of ways. First, the Faculty of Management is
especially keen to share new knowledge related to the circular economy and the
sustainable development goals. Thus, the Faculty can be an excellent platform
to share new insights, as well as to create a comprehensive discussion and/or
debate. The Faculty staff and students can actively participate in project’s
activities and planned debates. Knowledge sharing enhances the overall ability
of the project partners in achieving the set goals as well as is essential to
facilitate decision-making capabilities, especially when we consider the
long-term utility of the project. Second, the Faculty of Management can serve
as a good platform to disseminate the project’s results. This helps in raising
the interests and awareness about the importance of treating unsorted waste and
the burden it creates for a society. The Faculty can have a leading role in
chainging the mindset of citizens in this respect. Third, during the lifetime
of the project its partner will develop new frameworka as well as propose new
methods for waste management. Such results and findings can enhance the
lectures, seminars and/or tutorials of a set of courses that the Faculty of
Management is delivering (especially those related to the management of
sustainable growth), and thus increase the project’s impact.
